Poll , Choose my skimmer for me!

I am setting up a 180 gallon with a Trigger Systems cr44 sump. What skimmer would you choose out of these options? It would be great to go with the Aquamaxx line as it would save me some $$, but lets hear your opinions.

A bit more than I want to spend right now. Purchasing a 180 gallon tank, metal frame wood wrapped stand, canopy and 4 Radions in a week put a bit of a dent in my budget. Lol

Lifereef. Hit jeff up he will help you. Get the v24 unit that you can add to later. They make add on sections to make the skimmer from "24 tall to as tall as enough to need a ladder.
Pump will cost you seperate or he might include a big magdrive. I suggest the updated air inlet valve over the old one. Its black and longer.

I’ve always preferred external skimmers ...

Is have a swc 110 . In sump and hated it .

tried a bubble Magnus 5 in sump and didn’t like it either .

reef octopus had a really good external skimmer .
Currently using Mrc and love it !

I run a Tunze 9410 dc on my 120.
For a 180 I would do a 9415 dc.
Set and forget in the truest form.
Buy once even if you need to save up for the one you want is my best advice.

I will go with @Hydrored if money is not an issue. Bubble kings are great. I have Nyos, but on the fence if I would recommend it. Reef octopus is a solid choice along with the lifereef in my opinion.

I just checked them out. The 9415 seems to be rated for a way larger aquarium, the 9410 might be perfect for me. Unfortunately it is out of stock on Marine Depot

Just goggle them. Their are many in stock.
If your 180 is going to be sps dominant I would run an 9415.
My 9410 is rated for an sps tank of 79 gallons but it works.
Go to the tunze site.
One of the only companys that list sps rated skimmers.
9415 is rated for 400 max.
It is rated for an sps tank of 120.
I should have got it for my 120.
The 9430 is rated 925.
For sps 277.
My 9410 works well bit I am looking at the 9415 down the road as my 120 fills in.
