He is very friendly. Comes right to the glass. Him and the cleaner shrimp are real buddies. The shrimp gets COMPLETELY on him. He doesn't seem to mind.

My clown pair nip at him. Hope they don't pick his fins off.

If it wasn't for the bully clown the shrimp was going to get on him again.

The clowns are pretty aggressive for some reason...

ive had a couple, but i ended up selling most and keeping one.

Had these:
CBB
Threadfin
Pearlscale
four eyed
Pakistan

What i ended up keeping is my threadfin, mainly because thats my fathers fish. Each person in my family chose a fish, he chose the threadfin

All in a reef? What kind of corals did you have? What about feeding schedule?

yep, they all only picked and killed my frogspawn.
i had these all prior my pump malfunction.

Now the tank is all softies, the threadfin doesnt pick at any.

Fabulous. If you don’t mind sharing how you figured out how to keep them off corals to help others looking to keep butterflies that would be amazing!

I think it was mostly luck, but i usually fed before my lights turned on, then once after about 6ish hours. Thought that if they were going to eat it will before corals open up. then 6 hours after was my normal feeding time for the tank.

Our CBB has been in the tank for eight and half months and is doing well. Only thing it will eat is whole clams (we use littlenecks) at this point but everything in the tank seems to enjoy them so I'm happy to toss them in there.

I had a threadfin many years ago that ate green star polyps and anthelia. Beautiful fish and easier to feed than many butterflies, but destructive!

I have a yellow long nose that seems to be bulletproof. Only thing not bulletproof I learned was maxima clams when I tried to keep them with him. ;Facepalm Beside the clams, I’ve jever had a problem with the fish picking at any other types of corals.
