Every week have really low nutrients about to start dosing some but corals puff up even more after water change. Started with 15 to 20 gallons but now starting to do 5 gallons

I do twice routine monthly on the 15 and 30. I change 15 gallons of my 125 + 30 gal. sump. Have had success that way so no need to change.

I selected "never" because I don't have a schedule of any kind for water changes. Been running this way for over a year now and tank is doing amazing. I do run the Reef Moonshiners method though.

In all reality, we all have to do water changes at some point. Even with the best filtration and dosing there are organic and inorganic ions that will build up and a water change is the only way to dilute them.

Just shooting for once a week already makes you only half as lazy as I am ... DOH!
Heh, understandable. My tank is still a teenager (10 months) so as everything settles in and stabilizes I may do twice a month, but in a small tank like mine (50g) my corals always perk up the day after, making me happier to do so. I would also suggest using some kind of low horsepower pump to make the task less of a pain. I pump the fresh water from my basement mixing station with a python hose and a 1/4 hp utility pump plugged in to a toggle switch.
