A while ago we did a poll on fish feeding frequency and the overwhelming response was daily at a minimum. So let's look at feeding corals. Do you even feed your corals separately or do they just eat what the fish eat and what the fish produce? If you do, how often are you feeding the corals? Feel free to discuss your routine and what you're feeding.

Depends what it is really but generally 2 to 3 times a week is normal for me.

every 2-3 days when I see the tentacles out on my acans

I feed daily, but feeding Reef Energy feels very different than feeding BRS Reef Chili or Reef Roids. I could almost consider Reef Energy dosing while Chili or Roids are food.

Twice a day, with I feed frozen.

I target feed my lobo and Duncan's once every week or two with NLS pellets. The other corals are on their own.

I feed a mixture of foods twice a day using a automatic feeder. I feed reef roids, reef frenzy, and 2 types of pellets but I am able to export the nutrients that come from the heavy feeding because of my refugium. I wouldn’t feed this much if I didn’t have a refugium.

IF YOU HAD TO TAKE A REEFING EXAM, WOULD YOU PASS?
