Poll: Powder Blue vs. Powder Brown

Based strictly on looks the Powder Blue would be my choice, based on real life fact? The Powder Brown tends to be a little more hardy and a better tank mate.

Powder brown! Both are beautiful but I feel like the brown gets overlooked a lot .

Both are beautiful, but the blue takes the appearance cake. It’s also probably the most aggressive tang, overall.

I’ve had both. Loved them both. But couldn’t keep them. Just had issues with them eating. Not sure what the cause because my Hippo was fine. My kids liked the brown better because it was a lollipop tang. Good luck!!!

I think the blue is better looking but I agree with being a spawn of satan. I had both in the tank and the blue was such a bully towards the brown that I moved the blue to my frag runway. Now the brown is such a happy and peaceful fish.

Blue easily. Just never liked the colors of the Brown. I'd rather get the White Cheek Tang over the Powder Brown.

If you think the Powder Blue is hellspawn, then try owning a Sohal Tang.

Beautiful fish, but I know one day it will impale me with his barb. I hand feed it everyday, and yet it still tries to stab me every time I reach into the tank to add more nori.

Flash Gordon fans will appreciate this...as I fully expect to feel like this one day when I reach into the tank:

Brown-much less aggression, I think the brown is very attractive, blues are gorgeous. Would you rather live with the most beautiful mate who comes with a lot of baggage, or the very attractive mate who you can depend on to be happy to see you in the morning?(and does not try to kill every other member of the community?)
