Let's be honest, we are not doing full time on this hobby so time is of the essence and each of us has our own preferred parameters which we believe need to be checked quite regularly.

As a hobbyists and enthusiasts, what do you test on regular basis? What do you emphasize on?

Say I test Boron on quarterly basis, that doesn't count in this poll.

Poll works in mobile browser. Just cast my vote. Alk, calcium, temp. If calcium is low then check mag to see how off as well. Although, I just started using brightwell kalk+ for my ato and have had a 0.0 loss on the big 3 across the board in the past 4-5 days. Pretty stoked to cut my test time down a bit.

Manually? Alk, Ca, NO3, PO4, Mag; in that order. Alk is every other day or so, Ca is weekly, NO3/PO4 maybe twice a month, Mag monthly.
Automagically? pH, Salinity, Temperature

I can't and won't dictate on how you do your test.

I routinely monitored salinity, pH, and temperature. In my system, I learned over the years that if these were in line in my particular system, everything else would be. :)

Do you use a calc reactor or dose 2 part?

I'm adding new frags to my tank and I find my Alk and calcium requirements changing so much that I have to keep increasing my 2 part dosing, which leads me to test them more frequently.

SG, Mag, Cal, Alk and (PH... window opening junkie)

Phos. and Nitrate... (about once a month), unless...

As of now alk no less then 3 times weekly, otherwise i test almost everyday after adding corals(to resolve dosing) phosphate as well. Ph temp sg are monitored. Otherwise everything else is tested about 3 times every 2 weeks.

Twice a week, Alk,Ca,Mg,No3,Po4 I have a controller so PH,Temp,Conductivity are covered and once a month Potassium just to check
