I chose the wrasse because they are quickly becoming one of my favorite kinds of fish. I positively adore the color variations and their spirited personalities. ;Cat

I'd also go for the wrasse. I don't really like the look of mollies/guppies in a reef because they're more of a dither fish, not something that's going to interact with the environment. The puffers would eat my inverts! :)

I have a Solon in my tank. Great personality and peaceful. They do well with plenty of hiding places and peaceful tank mates.

I would, as with any wrasses, place in a QT tank and treat with General Cure as a prophylactic treatment against internal parasites. Wrasses have tend to carry internals by nature.

Guppies are very misunderstood they have bags of character, one that I had in my reef would always follow my wrasses and he would try to burry himself and I thought that was cute.
Here is a picture of him.

I chose Other because I would really love to have a few female Betta fish in my reef. I realize this is impossible not only because of the saltwater, but the flow is waaaaaay to much for them, but that's my answer and I'm sticking to it. ;Happy

I'm not talking about the Betta fish you see at PetSmart in the little cups, (I hate seeing them like that especially all the dead ones ). I just think that Betta fish are some of the most colorful fish I have seen and I have an LFS that caries some of the rarer, (and more expensive) Betta fish and they are magnificent. The only reason I don't keep them is that every tank I have has too much flow, (even my freshwater tanks) and I just haven't gotten around to setting up a Betta tank yet, but having a few in my reef would be amazing!

Hey if you get some shortfin Betta fish you could get away with some flow in the tank. I have a pair of Bettas in my 50 gallon mountain shrimp community aquarium.
