The time has come for me to change out my heaters (seals are seeping). I've had Eheim Jager forever but I hate how huge they are. Looking to see what the masses are using. Included as many as I could think of.

I have an Eheim Jager running currently but it's too large to fit in my AIO chambers... I'm also interested to know what smaller options others might be using! I'm very tempted by those new Finnex ones with the external digital controller but there's no reviews out yet.

Running Eheim and been happy with it since I got it dialed in. Seems to keep consistent temp. However I like the idea of the Hyger after seeing the one pic above.

I use the hydor theo since they are so small. 1 year on my 200w with no problems

Definitely a strong lean toward Eheim Jager so far (which is a little surprising considering the regular mention of other brands in heater threads). Need more votes to get a decent sample.

Eheim Jager as the only heater in my 15g FW tank.
Aquael Gold as primary and Aqua One (budget Australian brand) as secondary in my 65g RSR 250 SW tank.
Eheim Jager as primary and Aquael Platinum as secondary in my 130g RSR 525XL SW tank.

I've got one on order for my biocube reboot, the old Jager I have is overheating the tank. Usually use a Cobalt in my cube, but they are out of stock or price gouged so settled on the HMH 150W

For QT, water mixing, and any other temporary less than critical situations I use the Aqueon preset 78 degree heaters. Have a variety of wattages for different demands. They work great.
But for my main DT it's Finnex Titanium 300W x 2. The dumb ones - connected to Inkbirds, which are connected to Apex. 3 separate thermometers in the tank!

I used to only use Eheim but I have had 2 of them fail on me so I went the cheap route and got Orlushy heaters on Amazon. I have 2 of them in my tank for redundancy and they're used with a inkbird controller. So far I like them but I've only had them for a few months, so time will tell I guess.
