I have a new build that that has been up and running about 6-7 weeks. All of my fish have been moved over to the new tank, and the corals are in the original tank. NO3 and PO4 are the same in each tank but I haven't checked Ca, Mg, or ALK in the new tank. pH in the original tank is 8.3 (Hanna pen checker FWIW) and in the new one it runs 7.99-8.1 (GHL).
My question is: I have a shipment of corals that should arrive today (looking at you FedEx). With the two tanks being so close parameter wise, and assuming all other parameters are close as well, should I go ahead and and place the new corals in the new tank? It would be in the sump and under a Zetlight Marine, and wouldn't blast them with too much light initially.
Corals in question are a few Zoanthids, a Micro Lord, Leptoseris, a chalice, mushroom, and a cyphastrea.
What would you do?
Thanks
