Some of my large Pollys are taking over and shadowing my small zoas. When I first got back into the hobby I never thought that this might be an issue how can I trim back the Pollys so they’re not as invasive but yet not causing a chemical or toxic issue
Thanks

You could frag them or use aptasia X.
Zoas grows like a mat so If u scape under the polyp you can easily be able to frag how much u want.

Cool I have not fragged zoas befor :)

What type of zoas are they, I like them

The big pink ones? I don’t know lol

those are gobstopers i have have same issue. What I do is use a pair of small sharp medical scissors and cut the end of the zoa as close to the rock as possible. Then glue them to a frag plug to sell. I have never had an issue with toxins or anything like that
