Poly-fil - layered?

Giving Poly-Fil a try this go around and was wondering how many layers everyone uses? It’s pretty thin going from the typical blue / white filter floss.

Giving Poly-Fil a try this go around and was wondering how many layers everyone uses? It’s pretty thin going from the typical blue / white filter floss.

I usually like a pad of the stuff that is 2 inches or so thick, but I have a small tank and it depends on how much water you have going through it constantly.
