Hi all,
I have had flatworms in my tank since the beginning and apart from being ugly I have never seen anything wrong with them. I run a wrasse based tank (6 wrasses) plus an spotted dragonet so population tend to be under control, when I have a leave the house for 4 – 5 days I do not feed them and flatworms population decrease importantly.
A few of days ago I notices a large flatworm ½ inch app. It was on the flat side of a tricolor acropora for a couple of days. I noticed the polyp where not out and I blew it from the acro. A few days after, the polyps are nowhere to be seen and the surface of the acro looks abnormally smooth. It is almost like it eat the polyps, could that happened?
I checked the acro and there are no sings of bites on the tissue like the o es of the AEFW.

You see where the FW pass in this pictures

This is another piece of tricolor with a couple of smaller flatworms on it.

What do you think. Should I worry about this FW?
I have several other acros and no one has been bothered. They tend to be in the mushroom, Duncan, candy and actinodiscus.
