Im wondering how ozone resistant is polyester quilting batting? I cant find any info online. Thanks

Ozone will degrade polyester, but how much degradation is OK will depend on your application.

Was just worried if something bad would happen to the tank inhabitants from its degradation from ozone. It would be unlikely to be exposed or just a little exposure to ozone. Used as filter floss.

"polyester" can means lots of different molecules, but they will generally be torn apart by ozone into released bits that are not likely very toxic. :)

Two papers describe Antimony leaching from polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic used for bottled drinking water.

There are many different types of polyester, but the type most often produced for use in textiles is polyethylene terephthalate, abbreviated PET.
The majority of the world’s PET production – about 60% – is used to make fibers for textiles; and about 30% is used to make bottles."https://oecotextiles.wordpress.com/2013/02/06/antimony-in-fabrics/

Could using polyester filter socks & floss be leaching antimony into your aquarium water?
