I'm looking for water storage containers for new build. I have been looking at this 100g tank.

It's not listed as being bpa free but is made from the same material as bpa free potable storage tanks such as this tank.

My question is if they are both made from the same material and one is listed as BPA free would the other be as well?
Also feel free to list where you get your water storage from and what you use as I may be overturning this.

As far as i know, polyethylene is bisphenol free automatically. But beware. BPA-free does NOT necessarily mean healthy or bisphenol free. Many plastics labeled as BPA-free simply substitute bisphenol F (BPF) or bisphenol S (BPS) for BPA. These plastics have very similar properties, both good and bad.

Of these two containers, I'd buy the second because it is certified for drinking water storage. It is also phthalate-free which is not always the case for polyethylene.
