Hello everybody.

I have a radio G4 X30 light and I want to know which would be the correct spectrum to accomplish the look of the polylab filter.

I have the filter and the corals look so different and beautiful that it would be amazing to accomplish that look with the naked eye.

Is there a way?

Thanks in advance for your help.

AFAICT they are only "blu blockers".. Either yellow or amber..
Polyplabs throws in polarizing for fun.
The spectrums below should be what each do.

Is it fancier than that???? Don't know w/out the lens filtering specs..
If you want to emulate it just fire up the above spectrums..

Not sure (pretty sure not) you'd want to do that for everyday life..
See you are cutting out, to the eye, the main growing spectrum.
Doing it "in tank" could be problematic.

Out of the box option is find a gel you like and add it to the front of the tank

24" x 25 feet is $95
Many list the deeper one as simply orange.. so there is that.

For fun , Simulation:

you could possibly do it w/ just making it more white, but glare (you need equal photon output) starts to wash colors out a bit..
See you are adding light unlike the filters which just subtract light.

You just need Orange tint for the glass. Otherwise. No there isn’t any way to replicate the look of a blue blocking filter to the naked eye through light adjustment only.

I see, the problem with tint is that works only when you are in the blue setting. Other light configuration will look awful. I will experiment and let you know...
