Polylab Medic for QT Tank

I have a new tank coming in towards the end of the June so I want to get some fish in QT while I wait for this to be set up. I just got a 30” 29g tank that I am in the process of setting up and have a sponge filter sitting in my AIO to seed the bacteria as well as a bottle of bac coming. I haven’t done a QT before so am looking for the least intimidating method that I can do here. A local reefer mentioned he uses Polylab Medic for QT and I just wanted to see if anyone had thoughts on using this?
