Polyp Bailout Help

Hello all! I had a Polyp off my Frogspawn pop off the skeleton today, I got it in early June at aquashella, and it was growing great, my parameters were in measure and I did not have any major swings of anything. Is there anything I could do to help this guy live? The first pic is now and second was 3 weeks ago. I have it in a cup of water in my tank so it doesn’t blow around, but what can I do with it?

polyp bailout is a last ditch effort to survive, if the conditions in that spot of your tank were bad enough to cause it, they won't be any better elsewhere so it's not going to survive most likely.
