Hey all,

recently i got my catalphyllia bailing out hes head, nothing wrong i tought can happen.
But now also my trachy and my acanthastrea(1 head gone) and even caulustrea are loosen up . Could it be the current?
Stats
PO4 0.03
NO3 10
Sailinity 1024
Ca 350 (low, working on that)
Mg 1400

Currently using just 1 redsea wavemaker the stronger one at 60%.
Running on only water change weekly and adding a reef elixir solution.

Bailout is a last ditch survival event. Your current would have to be life threatening to the coral for this.
I had a bailout event when I placed a coral too close to another.

my parameters wont be the cause? Well , how can you tell the difference between a bailout, and tissue been ripped apart by current?

The parameters you posted look fine. If you think the current can damage the coral, then reduce it.
In polyp bailout, the polyp is intact, like a shrimp popping out of its shell.

I noticed this tonight on a green hammer that fell to the BB glass and I've left there. I found a loose head sitting in the back of the tank tonight. It was likely touching a blue mushroom coral on the bottom.

My blasto has polyps bail a couple heads every few months, it’s a colony of about 100+ heads now, imo they are just crowding each other too much so some just drop out to start a new colony. Nothing wrong at all with the colony it’s very healthy and I sell the frags when it happens.

if you have a bunch of different corals all bailing out there is probably an issue though.
