Is it normal for a coral to mainly extend it's polyps when the lights are off? When my lights are on I barely get any from it. The identification of it has also been up for debate

Normal for corals to do this at night, they're eating :)

Appears to be a Cyphastrea. Polyps should be extending while lights are on, unless it’s fairly new to your tank or params/lighting are off.
