What is the trick to this crazy polyp extension that i always see on everyone's sps. I have polyp extension but not as much as i want. Is it light, flow, nutrients, what?

Well obviously it depends on the Acropora type.

The only time that I saw diminished PE on my sps were when Red Bugs were present. For me flow has the most influence, if all other variables such as water chemistry are in check.

High random flow, stable water (esp. Alk), and feeding make the biggest difference for me. I use nutri-cell, BRS reef chili, and aminos (Acro-Power and Red Sea Reef Energy A&B). Tahoe brings up a good point about the type of Acro as well. You'll never see much PE in, "deep water" varieties, but stuff like tenuis, millis, and prostratas get very fuzzy. ORA Joe the Coral is another good example for awesome PE.
