So I just got the V2, I'm struggling with getting shots to focus with the 10x magnifier and lense on it together when zoomed in to my sticks. I have a Galaxy s10.
Was just wondering if anyone has any tips and tricks and can help me get used to this thing to get some cool shots.

As a side note, outside of the tank I can take great macro shots of other things so maybe it's just the water and glass being in the way or something.
Thanks all happy reefing.

Did you turn your flow off?

Are you telling it what to focus on or just leaving it on automatic?

Was letting it autofocus and I did not turn the flow off I never have before so I didnt realize that was a thing.
For macro shots it helps a lot.

Most mobile camera apps have a manual focus and a manual exposure that will let you touch on the screen at a certain spot and the image will react accordingly. Once you figure it out it is usually very easy to use. ;Snaphappy

Awesome thank you. I am terrible with most tech stuff like this unfortunately

Does your macro lens actually magnifying? I have the V2 also and it looks exactly the same with or without the macro lens.

Same here. I have no idea good question

Usually macro lenses for phones are more about focus length than magnification - meaning they let you get very close to the subject and still be in focus. Although the pictures may look magnified it is different from a zoom lens.
