What dose everyone think about them? how often do you use them? and when you do dose it what have you found works best, Spot feeding or just dosing the whole tank with low flow? If you have any before and after pics of when you first started dosing to after you have been dosing post your reef roid results below. I’m interested in seeing results or hearing about them. I just bought some since I’ll be having a Zoa heavy tank. Thanks for your time to post and read this.

Tyler.

I have heard good results. @WWC uses them with there systems

Oh really? Good to know. I bought some and saw reviews on amazon but I just wanted to see if anyone on here actually uses them and sees any results

Hey Tyler, never used the reef roids, but when I run out of Cyclops ezze that's what I'm switching to. I was/am a newbie, I had a Duncan that I thought was a sun coral... I spot fed him every other day and it led to a Hugh vermited snail outbreak. I now kill the pumps and spot feed him 2 times a week. Some guys even use tuppware upsidedown with a hole drilled in it to make a spot feeding dome for the coral. Good luck bud

That dome is a good idea! I know for LPS using the large food they use a straw to accurately drop the pellets on the coral. I have been spot feeding with my polyp lab and doing a weekly dose of Oyster feast before the lights go out. Thanks for your input! I'll post pics of I see any major changes :)

Ive been using roids and polyp booster for a cpl months now. Id post before and after pics but i also switched to 26 HDs at same time so my results are very skewed. Coral seem to enjoy it as do the fish it would seem. Im only feeding once every other day and only feeding 1/8th of a tsp to a 55g.

I like the straw idea in combo with the dome. I don't feed pellets anymore because Mr fatty (yellow tang) sits there and tries to steal them from Duncan. Ive never done night feeding, might try that. Pic info... The liquids I use alot with great success yet I don't follow the directions on bottles. As for all that food you see, I'll use diff ones here and there to spice it up. 99% of the time all that goes in is my liguids, those new life spectrum pellets, and maybe the prime reef flakes but I'm getting away from flakes all together

Haha! Yea buddie, amazon. I didn't want it to get stale I guess, IMG_20170110_113114.jpg so I cryovaced half the tub rest in a ziploc. They say don't over feed NLS. Something about the unregulated amount of protein? Idk. My fresh and saltwater tanks have been almost a year with it and no problems.

I adore reef roids!!
Ive brought many acans back from the brink of death with them :) tyree toadstool likes them too and the bounce shrooms, and some other sps. mostly I use it for target feeding acans.

Awesome good to know! How can you tell if the bounce responds to them I tried spot feeding mine and I couldn't tell if it was ratting any lol mine is a baby still about the size of a nickel.

Thanks for the feed back everyone! I enjoy reading about options and seeing products that work. There are so many out there and with this hobby nothing happens over night that's positive lol so cool to see what's working for everyone.

I've been using reef roids for about 7 months and omg my coral have exploded there huge and my mushroom are like really big

I've also been working out [emoji963] with it I add about 5ml a day in my protein shake every morning and my muscles are swollen very nice [emoji1417]

Ya I'm excited to see growth and color change. What times you guys found is best to feed. In the morning befor the lights are on or during sun set clues or after lights go out ?
