Wrong question asked. Let me correct that "are you obsessed with Euphyllia" :astonished-face: The answer is a resounding yes. Have a bunch and still on the quest for more LOL. Gotta have my hammers, torches, cristata's, frogs/octo and even a blue bubble. Pretty sure all the stick vendors need to do some diversification. Only like 3 online vendors I get Euphy's from. It would be nice if the craze died down a bit and prices stopped climbing though. Good thing is if you are into sticks those prices are going down most places.

The one I have is no show stopper but it does well in my system.

No, but I keep frogspawn and hammers. Just no euphyllia (torches)

Well yes I do, I absolutely love my euphyllia. All hammers and frogs including a wall hammer. I have a mixed reef and I am now dabbling with acropora but to me the movement, almost instant response (for coral) you get from them just makes a reef. I can spend hours watching them move in the water. Seeing new heads sprouting and splitting is awesome, so yes I keep euphyllia and in a way makes the hobby that much more enjoyable for me.

Am Experimenting with Torches for the first time. Tried in the past and they died within a couple weeks. 4 years later, tried again, and my test torch has gone from 1 head to 3 heads in 2-3 months. Lovin it!

I’ve unfortunately had both my euphyllia, a hammer and a torch, pass away this year (one from BJD and the other from accidentally knocking it around) Hopeful for the future though because I’ll be looking for a torch coral after I move!

Polyp parade: Do you keep Euphyllia corals?

Whether they are hammers, torches, or frogspawn, the corals that fit into the euphyllia genus are stunning! They can make great gardens and they can be stinging aggressors, but one thing is for sure – they are beautiful! Some people collect them, and others avoid them. Do you keep euphyllia corals or have you kept them in the past? Tell us about your experience with these corals, share your favorite type, and feel free to pass along any useful tips that may be helpful to others.

Pro Tip: Attention to details is key! Proper placement to provide moderate flow, moderate to high lighting, feeding, temperature consistency, observing for pests, and mitigating for chemical warfare and stinging are all part of keeping a healthy tank with euphyllia corals. Of course, their beauty and movement can make it all worthwhile!

What do I need to know about chemical warfare? I have two hammers and never adjusted for this.

The addiction is real!!
