PolypPal 18g Acrylic Custom AIO Zoa Garden

Build thread for my new 18g Zoa Garden tank that I have finally gotten moving along again after some hiccups. When I get some time, ill post more in depth updates on my insta.

Tank: Custom Advanced Acrylics 18g AIO (20x16x14, Eurobraced, 1/2" thickness)
Stand: Custom Built 2020 T-Slot (Anodized)
Lighting: Kessil A80 w Spectral Control
Filtration: Tunze DOC 9001 Skimmer, Bio-Pellet Reactor, Brightwell Xport
Other: Custom AWC System (via Kamoer X1s)
Aquascape: Tropic Eden Tonga Branch

Current Corals: Lots of Zoas
Current Fishstock: Swissguard Basslet, Engineer Goby

Using basic Caribbsea sand from Petco. Ended up using about 8lbs.

Tank moved into its forever spot in my hallway. It will be close to my other new tank and much of the filtration (reactors/dosers) will actually run from under the larger tank around the corner.

Stand is custom T-Slot 2020 with frosted white acrylic shelves/backing. Stand is 34" high, and there is about 6" depth on the shelves, enough to hold food/media bottles etc.

I get obsessive with aquascaping, and this little tank is no exception. Rock structure is composed of Tropic Eden Tonga Branch (my new favorite to work with), joined with some dowels and epoxy. I Dremel down the cured epoxy joints to give a little more natural look. Should present a number of great viewing angles of zoa colonies in the future!

Thanks, I orig put a A160 on it, but it was way too much light for the Zoas, hoping the A80 will handle them much better

I have another custom tank being built (that’s about a month overdue at this point) so I have had to move several fish which completed QT into this tank temporarily. Two large Picasso clowns, large white bristletooth, small tolmini, swissguard basslet and algae blenny are all sharing an 18g at the moment, but seem fine coexisting with one another for now…

I keep getting the runaround from Advanced Acrylics, but should hopefully have the large tank by next week!

I finally got my Custom 68g tank the other day, and moved the livestock over. I also decided it needed more rockwork, so I removed the Tonga branch from this tank to add to that one, and will be designing a new rockwork for this tank using another kind of Tropic Eden rock.

In the meantime it will prob double as a QT tank for some incoming fish for the large tank.

Got a massive order from @A Reef Creation yesterday and am very impressed with the company. Frags were packaged extremely well! Everything went into the frag tank overnight, and I mounted up some things this morning. The various LPS went into my larger tank.

Got lots of zoa frags glued on the Rockwork this morning, ready for a few months of leaving the tank alone!

Zoas are starting to get happy in the new tank...
Going to need more pinks/reds/orange varieties though to balance things out...
