Polyps on acro?

So purchase a Champane acro and was wandering is there suppose to be polyps? I also purchase a starry night Coral which i believe is a acro as well but green and i see polyps on it. The Champane isn't turning white so I assume its ok?? Any input would be great.

It's been 2 weeks

Took over 6 months for my Cali Tort to start showing polyps and growing. Every individual coral is going to be different. Some may not show polyps and grow while others may not grow but show polyps.

If it doesnt turn completely white id say your ok. Patience is key

also looks like you have it pretty close to some other corals. some corals do release toxins to fend off other corals . maybe give it some space. good luck

9 times outta 10 it's probly a fish nipping at the coral if your parameters are in line , when I first put these in my tank the polyps went away after a day , I took the problem fish out and they came back out after about a week....

I only have clown fish but I'll keep my eye on they never really thought about fish nipping them.

Yeah I was just getting them use to the tank.

If you don't have enough waste or alage for them to eat they will turn on your coral ,I've had this happen personally ,I had to get rid of him he ate my doughnut coral
