I have a fire shrimp and a bumble bee shrimp and they all get along with but not sure about the emerald crab. They only come out when all the lights are off anyway but none the less an interesting little creature.Cool pic! I've been thinking about getting one, but I don't want any issues with my emerald crab
Good chance he is still around. Mine is in my nano, only reason I see sometimes. If he was in the display sightings would be few and far betweenNice pic, I haven't seen mine for 4 - 5 months, not given up on it.![]()
He has been in there for a longtime and never bothered anything. Tiny little creatures would be hard for it to tear apart most coral I’d think. Also I’ve never had issues with the emerald crabs in my display either. They have been in there forever and they keep the tank spotless from all forms of hair and bubble algae. It’s really a hit or miss with crabs, some have problems some have none.I have heard of them losing their anenomies at the same time and then tearing apart coral trying to make new ones. Has he ever bothered your coral? After a coral eating emarld crab and a coral eating Sally Lightfoot - I have banished all crabs forever. I like the pom poms... Wish crabs werent so dangerous. $8 crab ate $400 in coral.
Probably still around if you never seen a carcassI got one, not seen him since he went in, think he’s probably died.
