Hello, any of these two are Reef safe? Planning to add one to our standard 29g. About 30# LR, Mix reef, have 4 fish, few snails, 3 shrimps and 2 Hermits. Any experience with these crabs? Thanks!

both are reef safe and fun to have. the porcelain crab will actually host a coral and filter feed from there. cool to watch

Thanks joshbert. Any other input/experience with these two crabs?

I have both I had one pom pom but he lost his little nems so I picked up another and he fragged one of his to give to the other and then a month later at full moon she had a bazillion babies from my highest rock it was amazing! Other then that they only come out at night and shake their nems around. The porcelain crab used to host my bta but him and the cinnamon had it out and now he perches at my frogspawn all day or my lepto he changes sits like that all day feeding. Both are model citizens :)

Also I have a skunk cleaner 4 sexies 2 urchins a coral banded shrimp and they all get along in a 20g long

Nice tank and collection you have. Thanks for info/pics. I do not have a Nem, would that be an issue with PomPom or the Porcelain?

I hope with the 29g I can see it often.

Anemone porcelain crabs will stay out once they are comfortable. The blue, green, and red ones will hide in dark spots, but they tend to stay in the same spots.
