I have a pompom crab that came without nems and after a few days grabbed an aiptasia in one claw. I got some Berghias to take down the aiptasia in my tank and after a few weeks once they were all gone, the PomPom decided to grab the biggest Berghia and has been walking around waving his prize for about a week!

Aww, these little guys are so darn cool. I have wanted one since I set my tank up. I may have to go ahead and get a couple.

That is so cool, my urchin today had a live snail and some plastic sticker that got into the tank some how on it..
I removed both....

That is pretty amazing. It looks like the berghia is still alive, berghia deflate and melt pretty quickly once they die. However I suspect the berghia will starve after a few days.

This is not the first Pom Pom story I've heard this week. I e never heard of these things before, but I'm starting to assume they carry things around?

The other person had one with a dying goni polyp in its claw. I said it kinda creeped me out, like in a horror movie where the serial killer carries around a decapitated head, laughing maniacally....

How adorable is that!

I was wondering if it was possibly still alive, it looks a little deflated days later but not much. I tried to pull it off with a turkey baster (I had success taking an aiptasia from him before) but it wasn’t working :(
