Hey everyone!
I purchased a Ponape birdsnest frag last weekend. I am still learning but they told me this was a very easy coral to have.
I did not know much about this coral at the time.
I have researched and found most of them are a greenish color.
Mine has been mostly whiteish with some slight spots of green.
Did my lfs sell me a bleached coral?
Or do they vary in color or get more green as they grow?
Thanks.
Paul.

Moderate light and water flow. Placement at top towards light.
Salinity range 1.024-1.026, temp range of 77-80 degrees and ph of 8.0 - 8.2
Does not like high alk or mag. regular water changes will keep it happy

Thank you. I am within all parameters except for alkalinity because I have been using red sea coral pro salt.
So I guess I should leave it at the top and monitor it closely?
I will say it did look like this the day I purchased it... Its not looking worse or anything
