blue agave pe

flame pe. I just added it to my tank, and to me it looks like a TRPE morph, so only time will tell if it retains it super dark coloration in my tank.

An unknown zoa, its gold/pink speckled over an olive sort of color.

Its a pretty bad pic, but I was attempting to show the difference between TRPE, Orange Envy PE, and a Flame PE.

Sea foam palys. I have these guys on their own rock. They have huge polyps and grow like a weed, but they are actually kind of nice and form a super dense colony,

Ill probably post some more pictures tomorrow, need to get shots of my UC, Hawaiian Ding Dangs, and my Red Halo PE

My favorites are the blue agave. wow those are sweettt! You guys are so lucky to be able to buy such beautiful PE. There is nothing like that here in Canada, at least not that I am aware of.

Well you guys have Reef Raft and Swiss Sig rifles so I think it evens out.

Unfortunately I have a bacterial infection sweeping through some of my frags, so I dipped about half of them in a hydrogen peroxide bath.
Hopefully they will pull through and I can put them up on the marketplace to clear some space on my rack for the next big purchase.

Didnt manage a good pic of my utter chaos, but its recovered nicely from the tank move. The baby polyps are still coloring up, but its shaping up to be an impressive little mini colony, with six or so polyps. I dont know If I want to risk cutting it hahah, especially due to the polyp structure. One thing I like about Z. gigantus species is the ease of fragging them due to the the large polyp size when closed. The UC seem to be flat when the polyps retract. Similar to my mohawk palys, which I have failed in fragging twice, so I just relegated them to the colony rock.

The blue Agaves are awesome, I have to get my hands on some. Watch the light on the space monsters they look a little bleached, just trying to look out for an awesome paly!

So I ended up being away from my tank for the better part of this year, actually only maybe two or three weeks. There were some casualties, some morphs, and a little bit of growth. Here are some quick top downs I took, first ones ever actually.

The odd gold and olive speckled ones ended up turning into super bright pink and golds, that ALMOST resemble Cherry Charms to me. I think the higher par of the GE 6500K caused the morph.

I changed out the the lighting in December right before I left also, added two ge 6500k in place of two ATI Blue+ as my wife likes a whiter look to the tank. It ended up bleaching most of my red zoas I believe, especially the RPE, the Blue Agaves, and the Red Halo PE. Does that look like what happened?

Lost My Flame PE and my UC mini colony unfortunately.

I dont have them handy, usually dont worry about it too much as I dont have any stony corals. The RPE started getting better color and just looking better in general when I started using 4 bulbs instead of 6 bulbs.

Very nice! You have some very nice Zoas. Cant wait until I start a collection of my own. Do you plan on fragging these?

Im going to have to put a big frag pack up for sale to clear space for a big SEXY purchase coming my way. Super stoked. Yes Im a tease.
