Moved my watchman goby from qt to dt last night. There is not much flow in my qt so I had no clue how terrible of a swimmer he was. Let him go and he was instantly swept away. I ran to turn everything off but he managed to find a way into the filter before then. Poor guy is all beat up and to be honest, I didn't expect him to make it thru the night. However, he has. Still don't hold much hope but we will see. Right now I have him in my net dipped in the dt, figured it would be easier to rest with those chewed fins. Is there anything else I can do for him? Even if just to keep him comfortable? I feel sick to my stomach every time I check on him :(.

Ps. Are they only meant for low flow tanks? I have high flow in hopes of keeping an sps dominated tank one day. My clowns seem alright (they've learned to avoid the front of the power heads and just stick to certain areas they can handle.

Lower the flow for a little while with him in there and ramp it gradually over an hour or so and he will be fine. Mine handles flow like any other fish. Going from 0 to 90 was a shock for him I am sure.

My power heads aren't adjustable in speed. Should I perhaps use only one and then the second a few hours later?
