Kindly conduct the test I mentioned before to confirm that the denitrification zone has been established.

Hopefully the anaerobic zone has been established. If the 1st hour after dosing does register a lower No3 then you might get a better result with multiple dosing regime in a day.

Display water too had the same result of 50ppm and after reducing the outlet size I have made 5ml dosing of VSV yesterday night and tested today in the morning the effluent from reactor its still 50ppm. I think denitrification is not established yet. Shall I give a try for one more week.

You tested wrongly @Ponraj A. Please test effluent after 30 minutes of dosing. I am trying to evaluate whether your denitrator requires VSV dosage to be divided into several dosing per day.

Find below the image of nitrate from reactor output tested today at 6.45am half an hour after dosing 5ml of VSV. Colour has got it lighter than before but still nitrification is not started yet I think. Better to wait for another two weeks I think please advise.

You can try reducing the flow maybe to 15ml/10 seconds. If you still have MB7, dose for another 3 days.

Are you seeing bacterial bloom in DT? Cyano maybe?.

If you have auto doser, you can use it to spread the carbon dosing. You can increase the VSV as well. Try 10ml

Any snotty or slime build-up coming?

What media you use in there?

I have reduced the flow today in the morning as I said.
Will also dose MB7 for another 3days and increase the VSV to 10
Media - first chamber Borb bio porous balls and siporax
Second chamber - marine pure cube and Seachem matrix

If you don't have doser, spread the dosing into two, 5ml before you leaving for work and another shot once you reached home. Any sign of slime coating on the outlet?. It should show some...

No so far I can't see any slime quoting from the outlet.
I will dose 5ml in the morning and will dose 5ml after back home from work.
Will see the results by next week. I am running a bio pellet reactor do you think I have to stop it.

You are not getting result from the bio pellet reactor?

By the way, this is one of the media I am using...

what is the name of the media in your above image ?
I think my tank needs more time for denitrification ! Will PM you with my doubts please advise when you are having time.

Are you using UV?. H2O2?. Ozone?

Yes i am using the below,
36W UV sterliser running 7hrs a day from noon 12.00 till 7.00pm
Sochting Oxydator - model A - 2nos with 2 catalyst each and 6% H2O2 solution in it.
