Do you seriously have a pink duncan? One of my absolute favorite corals but I've never seen that color. I know you have a filter on but that still looks pink???Not sure most of the $$$ torches can hold a candle to my $30 Duncan. (He’s grown a bit since he was $30)

The funny part about torch's, about 10 years ago they were between $5 - $25 a head depending on color. The euphyllia craze has really made them blow up in price.

I bought this for $25 with 2 heads a couple years ago. I have fragged it twice, and theres currently about 40 heads. Sways in the currently just like my torch, and the tentacles are close to just as long.

That’s a nice torch… I just don’t get why that would cost hundreds of dollars. My Duncan is the same colors when the night lights come on.Unfortunately not quite the same.

What happened with torch's, and euphyllia in general.
When the indo pacific shut down a few years(where alot of the euphyllia come from) ago, people went euphyllia crazy, and the price shot up. Then indo opened back for aqua culturing, and we have all these crazy colored torch's that were sitting in racks in the ocean for a couple years. Since everything during the shutdown was basically frags from others tanks, the price shot up. When it opened back up, importers saw they could charge the same inflated price, and did so.
It's starting to die down some now. I've noticed regular colored torchs back around $10 to $25 a head. Still inflated IMO, but coming back to normal.

I still can't find them for that price. I usually see them about double that at the cheapest at least at a lfs.
