For the love of god i didnt understand a word.....

How to connect existing controller to wifi?

I tried to add device, but of course, nothing.

Or this is some feature unavailable in current controller, or something additional is needed?

there is no way to add wifi function in current controller. it is totally different.
in other words, the controller in your hands is no wifi function.

if you want to update to wifi function. there is only ONE way--- replace the driver boards (in your RS90 light) to the new wifi driver baords.

Then, after 7-8 months, you tell that there is no new controller, and post video about some app, and some way to controll lights via that app.

But, this is uselles to any of your lights, because existing controller dont have such feature, and only way is to add some new parts....

Yes, I completely understand your feeling .

it is a misunderstand between us for the beginning. you see, I never say there is CONTROLLER update to wifi . I always say light.

Yes, there will be a wifi controller. please the following help understand it
1, it is a different controller with the old controller in your hands.
2, there is no screen and keypad (because the phone will do it)
3, technically understand, it is just put a wifi bords in a box.

1, a wifi driver boards, intall it, the RS90 will support wifi functions (controlled by phone).--- it is launched NOW.
2, a wifi controller, without screen and keypad, it is not look nice -- it is developing.

I think you read through my postings. I was clear too that there was no controller (I remember asking exactly that question to Oliver on the other thread, and Oliver told us exactly the same thing as here); only a wifi board replacing the controller, and that all control was going through your android device (cell, tablet, etc) and TUYA app. I think some interpretation might be lost in translation with Oliver (maybe even with me english being my second language; french is my first). I dont think he ever tried to mislead anyone here and he have been very open and honest; and he his even offering us to test free upgrade to our light. So please, some regards. With that, I wish you all an happy new year!!! (sry havent time to post any more things I wanted to test with the board for the last month. Kids had/have bad flu, wife too, dog got sick, I got hurt...been quite busy... )

Probably, like i said, its a joke, there is no hard feelings, or anything negative.....

Controller or wifi upgrade board, its all the same, from this point, i simply asked two things - call it whatever u want, is there still offer to test this new "product", if not, what is a way to get one or two of this "boards".....

Simple as that, with no negative feelings if they retract they offer to send free sample for testing.

I wasn’t keen to try a single light on wifi but if I can update both my lights to wifi then I’m all in.

I have a background in IT and do a little bit of home automation with home assistant. Hopefully I can offer some valuable feedback.
