I'm quarantining 5 sunburst Anthias, a regal angel, and a royal gramma in a 40 breeder. Currently day 3 since copper at 2ppm with coppersafe, dosing metroplex 8 spoon every two days. 11 days since in the tank. Have been eating frozen brine, mysis, and newly hatched BBS.
Since yesterday one of the anthias developed popeye, and another one developed red patch on the side. This morning, the popeye one looks a lot less active, sitting at the bottom corner. The one with red patch is still active.
There has always be some aggression among the anthias. I thought it's normal till they established some picking order. But now I'm not sure if I should intervene. But neither of them look like external injury. I have another 10 gallon that could use to transfer them out. Will it be better to transfer it out or it may risk of putting more stress on it? Or should I add other medication?
This is the one with popeye.
