Pulled out of the box and held over the tank. First impression is the light is strong and color is perfect. Should install this weekend and will get a better look and feel for it.

The only thing I've heard about these is that they are not pulling the wattage advertised, if you have a killawatt then check it. But if it's only for the blue pop then who really cares :) I think these are a great option to those who aren't looking to spend 5 hundos for blue pop.

Yeah - at the end of the day I just want the blue pop that can penetrate and the unit lasts a decent amount of time without diodes going out randomly.

Red flag.

Mounted to my ATI fixture, plugged it in and nothing. It didn't come on... pulled it off and tried, but still nothing. Emailed company looking for another driver to try. Might have our answer about the product though...

Well that stinks! I have a dual unit, same make and it pulls 72w......suppose to be 216w. But the par 30" below is over 300 so can't complain. But it works :) hope they do you right

Curious any update on the led?

I just ordered one for some pop on my new setup that's cycling. I'll update on this thread in a couple months
I ended up getting them. They are great to give your corals the pop in color they need. Gives the tank a blue look though..kind of like a diluted windex color if that makes since
