Porcelain crabs dip?

Need help please..... I've been waiting forever for my porcelain crabs, now they're on their way and my QT tank is all outta whack. Since I have to redo my QT, I don't have a place for the crabs except the DT.
What is the risk of putting them in the DT? Is there anything I can do to limit risks? I have no idea what kinda junk they can carry.

Pretty sure they can carry anything that a fish or coral can carry. What's the issue with the QT? Any chance of doing a water change and adding some LR from your DT to keep it stable?

Why don't you start a jar for them? You just need some of your existing substrate, a heater, and some type of airstone. It will also be easier to keep your food source in the water column for them.
