My porcupine has been very healthy for the past two months and i fed him krill superba twice a day
today he wa sdoing good and had his breakfast and was spitting and acting normal, but then now he's laying on the ssand bed not moving, he's breathing fast and he could have ich but he didn't show any symptomps and he was acting fine untill now, i tried to show him food which he usally goes for instantly once he sees it, but he's barely able to move
what can i do?

I did a 20% water change yesterday and that's about it there has been no change at all other than that
i really dont want him to die

Is he inflated with water or air? If it just happened over a matter of minutes this morning, I would observe closely for a while longer today. Any other fish in the tank? How are they interacting?

all the other fish are okay, he was very active and very healthy since i got him it just happend in the past few hours, he hasn't inflated, i never usually brother him but i did touch him and he did not react much just barely moved a little bit to that position

he is breathing, it just looks slow and deep, he is not moving or hasn't moved his tail or anything else for the past 2+ hours the tank could possibly have ich and i can treat it, but i need to confirm what this is because I'm worried i'll cause a bigger issue, there are no inverts in the system

Assure after water change your nitrate and ammonia is not elevated and salinity is 1.024-1.025
The pic provided is both fuzzy and low light. Please retake pic under white intensity and assure both the glass and camera lens are clean
Fish appears moribund but hard to say yet. . . even video of at least 20 secs will be of help

sorry.. is htis better? i don't want to scrape the algae there cause i'll hurt him

he is breathing, changing lights to white now and i'll take another video

is this any good? lfs gave me that and i've just done a 25% water change, nitrate is quite high at 20 due to overfeeding which i obviously has stopped doing the past few days, I added some more benefical bacteria because their machine detected some ammonia (0.1) and I'm not sure on what else to do, is this medication good? the pufferfish is swimming at the top now and he did move and come tothe glass for a little bit and he looks sick, he also opened his mouth really wide for some reason
would really appreciate any help I'm flying out tomorrow and this is the last thing i was expecting @vetteguy53081

I can't get any other medication (in the UK) so any thing i ordered will come on Tuesday
so that's the only medication i have for now is called minnfinn

ammonia is 0.1, ph is 8.1 and salinity is 0.25 , LFS did a test and printed everything out and poinited out that i have ammonia and 0.25 nitrite, I was feeding porkie 3 times a day + 6 cubes for the for the other 12 fish, but obviously I've cut that down to 1.5 cube x2 a day now, so the parameters will be improving but he was living fine and healthy up untill this morning i noticed high salinity which i fixed right away, he's not swimming much now and his tail is bent but he went from the bottom to the top and came to my side of the glass twice, should i treat the tank with that medication? should i try to feeD?

What test kit did they use? I have a feeling the ammonia and nitrite are at 0.

they did something called a spin test i belive, and I have used hannas to check, levels are high, I have 0.25 nitrite and 0.1 ammonia, but that's before the water change, I'll be doing some tests now and update the results here

Unfortunately, I need brighter light to see skin. Also, is there awhite bacterial film I'm seeing on the sand bed?

Do you have anything besides the badge alert which I do not trust to monitor ammonia level ?
Im not familiar with Minn Fin but may be possible. I believe you are in the UK and can use Avloclor or waterlife Myxazin which is available in your area. Assure to utilize aeration with air stone with treatments

Not sure what a salinity of 0.25 but the 0.1 ammonia does not help but it’s still low and not lethal. Puffers are tough to treat since they are scaleless, but I’ve heard copper power and coppersafe are okay if he has velvet or ick

Sorry that was a different picture that was posted it's not the same pufferfish, I've went to LFS and they've used a spintest and printed out my results, I've added some bacteria and bacteria balls tha tthey recommended and they've only give me that medication, but this medication affectes nitrifcation and I don't want to risk everyone in the tank

Im not keen on spin test results but what were the results ( I can guess low ammonia and mid level nitrate)
Looking for ammonia-ph-nitrate and salinity readings
