I received this as a freebie in a coral shipment and had it for about 9 mos. In all that time it has only put on maybe a 1/4 inch onto the perimeter. Fairly thin. Does not have a protruding surface around each polyp like a cyphastrea plus the pattern is very regular. Color is very blah; under actinic lighting the polyps fluoresce a barely perceptible green. I'm thinking it's a porites?

I'd go with Porites

Something like Forest fire, or rain bow montipora.
But it h had experienced some terrible swing so became brown like.
