Porsche's 20 Gallon Nano.

Hi all,

So i want to start a build thread here of my progress so far. I have had a tank before a JBJ 28 Gallon a few years ago. Had to tear it down due to a move and ended up selling most of my equipment and all the livestock. Fast forward to 3 years and i had the itch again.

BRS had a nice deal on a AIO package with a Innovative Marine 20 and basic starter kit.

I started the process on June 29th 2016 and am still waiting on the cycle to stop , using Dry rock and a few pieces of shelf rock and a seed rock from a established reef. 20 lbs of live sand and added bio-spira.

Currently the tank has the following equipment:

AI PRIME HD LED light
TUNZE ATO
JABAO RW-4

Still need a Skimmer, which is not a priority at the moment since i have no bio-load yet.

thinking of getting chaeto , but with the IM 20 how would i make a refuge in the back chambers? is it even possible without a separate sump? as my Heater takes up space in the first chamber, middle chamber has the pump and returns, and third empty chamber will be for the skimmer?

Anyway here's some pics of my setup so far.

Jumbled mess i need to organize. need to afix the cords somehow in a neat bundle.

ATO jug,just wish it would of fit into my Stand.

Congrats on the new tank, looks very nice.

Perhaps a 5 gallon tank from petco will work in the stand, that is what I use.

The Prime looks like it has the tank covered, cool.

Hello- if a custom caddy-media basket will fit on one of the chambers and instead putting the sponges add chaeto or something you have in mind to serve as a refugium.

So i was sitting here at my desk and noticed mt AI PRIME HD light flicker every now and then, and it also got dimmer. it freaked me out i though the light was screwing up. It so happend to be set on Weather mode and it simulates lighting and overcast from a storm. pretty cool butt feature. safe to say i turned it off and everything was back to normal light.

also the algae is forming bubbles, im assuming this is a good thing? Also getting a lot of brown diatom algae spots all over the Dry rock.
