2 days into QT tank with a CBB. Noticed 2 white spots popping up on it's fin, maybe a third on its tail. Is this ich (sorry for the terrible photos)? He is eating pods and a little mysis, no distressed behavior at all. Also, what would be the best way to treat it for a CBB? All the research I've done says they are pretty sensitive fish, so any experience would be appreciated! Thanks

I'm not able to see anything in the photos however, CBB's tend to do well in copper or CP. They are also prone to lympho, so you'll want to keep an eye on it. If it gets bigger and doesn't go away in a week or less, then it's probably lympho and just needs to be treated with vitamins, quality foods and good water quality.

wow, I didn't realize how terrible those photos really are until I saw them blown up here. For the sake of clarity, in the top photo he has a single spot on his right fin (the left side of the image), and in the bottom pick there are two spots visible on that same fin.

Awesome, thank you for the tips!

If it's only on the fins most likely Lympho, you'll know if they change in size. Mine had them and lost them as soon as he was moved to the DT, they were there one day and gone the next. Another thing to look out for is a bacterial infection (rash like sore) on the body. My first CBB got one the second day in the QT and was dead the next day, it happened very quickly. Second CBB in QT was started off with antibiotics on the first day.
