Hey team,
Do these marks on the pictured coral look like AEFW bite marks to you?

I've just recently lost a couple of large frags that have had similar markings too. Checking the frag tiles there were some orange coloured egg deposits too.

Sorry for the bad news. Hopefully it’s not a bad infestation. If your patient you can always use flatworm stop to kill them off slowly. If your dipping try using melafix, I forgot the ratio I used but I am sure someone would help if you want to try it. Best dip for aefw I have found.

Fingers crossed but I feel like it will be.
Unfortunately I don't think I would be able to source flatworm stop here but I'll look into melafix. Current plan is going to dip with Levamisole as I've read a couple of treatments with that will do the job.

In tank treatments? I remember people using that and lots of people having die off. I have heard of just using it for dips but never tried it. Revive, melafix, Bayer or coral rx work great. Where are you located?

From my understanding it is done out of the tank. Luckilly for me they are all fairly recent acquisitions so are still on plates or plugs and are easy to remove. I'm from NZ so we don't have access to a bunch of the treatments folks in the US do

Gotcha! Let us know how it goes. Thats good they won’t be to hard to dip. Just don’t skip any weeks and be very diligent because these worms are very sneaky.
