Hi all, I’m new to this forum and this hobby,

I started a new tank (my first saltwater) about a week and a half ago with live rock and live sand. I initiated a nitrogen cycle by using part of a shrimp and allowing it to decay and have been tracking the change in parameters, everything is going smoothly so far. Today I have noticed more of an increase in very small organisms as well as an anemone looking creature that I did not previously see. I wanted a second opinion on wether or not this could be Aiptasia. It is still very very small, approximately 1-1.5mm tall. Also included photo of one of the larger organisms, I don’t know what they are either. Any advice would be appreciated.

Where did you get the materials from? Online retailer or just a person you found selling it?

LFS for the live rock, CribSea sand

Never know what could have tagged along on the rocks. At least your tank isn't stocked yet either way

Agree.^
looks like a hydroid

Either way remove what you can and treat the area with a kalk paste. Hopefully it's an isolated incident
