Possible Aiptasia?

Well I just checked out that tidal gardens video previously posted in the thread. Yours don’t look like that and neither do the ones in my tank. I think this is actually what I have.

Strawberry anemone. You could probably do a better job in person seeing if yours look like these. If those are it then just note they will likely end up spreading around the tank a little bit here and there. I’ve had mine for 3 years and still don’t have too many and none bigger than a quarter in the tank. My sump is where they really thrive.
 
With mine I notice they only get that pink red color under heavy lights. I the dark they are more clear white. Here’s a pic from forever ago when I found them on the love rock. Now they look completely different color wise in the tank.

I very highly doubt you have Corynactis Californica. If you’ll read their natural range you’ll notice that they thrive in frigid water temperatures. Unless you pulled you rock very recently from 30 degree water, there’s no way it would survive for More than a few days.

That’s a good point. Too many similar species to keep track of in the ocean for me to make a positive id haha but that’s part of the fun I guess
