I know this is kinda a double post but I want this seen quickly as I have fish in Rubbermaid’s. I’m RIP cleaning and the tank is empty and have salt creep behind the bottom rim. Is this tank safe or have I just been super lucky. I’ve never had salt creep outside of the tank or any leak issues. Seal inside looks good.

Difficult to give a hard & fast ruling on that, but generally it is a fact of reefing over longer time spans.

I know where to expect it on my display system. Just a couple of spots from bubbles & splashing. Especially around the over flow area.

On my basement frag system, salt creep is EVERYWHERE because my wavemaker flow is very high and my arms are often inside.

It takes a while to figure out "how it possibly got there". but after a while it makes sense. It creeps from somewhere usually above or adjacent to where you see it.

nice call. with no puddling or salt creep directly under on floor this does seem better. its amazing you can get up to date evals/live time during tank surgery thats amazing speed of team support.
