Possible bobbit worm

I have a huge eunicid worm in my tank. I have never seen it go after anything except macro algae. Maybe the one you have is not one of the "fish killers". They are so cool to watch at night.

That looks like a predator. The slink of it is like a snake.

I can try when I find it again, but as you know they are lightning fast. It is in a pretty big tank and he goes missing in action for a long time. Sometimes I think he is gone and then he shows up again. Their iridescent colors are amazing. I will look tonight and see if he comes out.

Fish trap or as it burrows, move high pocket of sand to front and run large underneath and scoop it

Eunice valens will take fish if it has the opportunity. Pretty much anything is on the menu, they are very opportunistic predators. However many have them in the tanks for years without noticing.
