Possible coral came in on live rock

I had a similar looking thing on a rock that came to life. It glowed pink under blue lighting. It seems to be some kind of SPS, maybe a montipora?Don't know if this is a coral. Looked like a coral skeleton but eventually it came to life. Pics are of a month ago and now.

It looks like a Porites. The easiest way is to observe its skeleton when the polyps are retracted. Judging from you second picture, the skeleton does resemble a Porites. Get a turkey baster a give a few press to get the polyps to retract. It should look like this.
