Possible critter on astrea snail

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has seen this before on a snail? Noticed it for the first time today. Any help is appreciated

it looks to me like it has some fish poop squished up against the glass, but I could be wrong. I've had instances where snails end up having some fish poop fall and rest on them until they move again.

It also might just be the snail's own fecal matter. In any case, it is nothing to worry about.
