Found these on my mag float yesterday. Possible eggs? Thanks for any help.

I like mine. Some people feel they are unsightly and remove them. Main cause of a population explosion= overfeeding the tank.

Oh I feed my tank a tons + sharks. I have a ton of filtration but I'm sure there's leftover nutrients. Do these guys grow into a normal feather duster or?

They stay small, no bigger than a pencil eraser.

Okay thanks for the info. Do you know of any fish that prey on them?

My wrasse (Solarensis) will pick them off the glass, but not the rock. I'm sure most fish that eat mollusks, crustaceans, and worms will make a meal of them, but I don't have anything more than that single fish to share anecdotally.
