Hi all, been cycling a tank and recently introduced some clownfish. When I first purchased them, I noticed one of their tails looked alike it was missing a small chunk. I’m not sure if I’m paranoid or not but it looks like both of their back tails have some rot.

side note: the clown without the stripe on its tail is noticeably more aggressive than the other. It will bolt at the other one every once in a while...could these missing chunks be a result of aggression?

Api test kit results for reference. My Nitrite has been running high for a while but from what I’ve read it’s not as dangerous. This is probably the highest my ammonia has been since adding the clowns.

I’m starting to think the cause is aggression. One of the clowns back fins is much worse than the other and it happens to be the one that is far less dominant / aggressive.
